X-Ray Dog是一个专门为好莱坞电影预告配乐的音乐工作室。

这个工作室因为保密工作做得很好，因此虽然编列成各种CD，但似乎并无在市面上贩售，而后不知道什么原因，居然流了出来，但由于仅限于玩家之间才能得知的管道与门路，所以前期28张CD及2007年底流出的5张新CD，共33张，被喻为史上最难集全的CD，假如不是有兴趣在配乐世界深入的人，或许连这些秘密CD的存在也不会知道！

他们的每一曲都是相当震撼的精华，或是编曲上马上可拿来使用广告、预告的气势音乐！低音鼓、铜管、加上电子节拍、电音琴.....营造出强烈紧凑的各段音乐！不论是辉煌、落日、浩瀚、战争、悲壮、刺激、昂奋.....似乎每种强烈的情绪都能在其中找到，而且每首编曲还细心的分成两三种版本，有人声合唱、纯节奏、全鼓声等版本，可依选用的不同来引发各种功能性！

当然，也有人批评说每张曲风皆很类似，只要取得五张就能囊括X-Ray Dog的精华，或者认为太过相似，听久就腻了，这些说法其实也反应了部分的现实，相同性质的东西一听再听的确让人难以持续，但打个比方，就像是一个只画风车画的画家，虽然永远只画一种东西，看的人也容易厌烦，但反过来也可以说，只要提到风车就会想到他，因此在这单一领域，X-Ray Dog是无可比拟的巨擘！

X-Ray Dog非常擅长电子乐，电影迷应该听到过他们的东西（比如《金陵十三钗》的预告片所用的背景音乐），虽然可能不知道是他们所做的。

X-Ray Dog的音乐有的激昂，有的悲伤，在听的时候，如果你用浮躁的心去听那么你什么也不会听懂，也永远不会体会到每首音乐里所特有的感情。只有静下心来用你的心灵去感受，随着音乐回忆那些或高兴，或悲伤的往事，你就会发现你能听出每首音乐中所蕴涵的感情。

网上有时候也会将X-Ray Dog翻译成为镭射狗或X光狗。

如果你仍然表示没听过他们的作品，那么2012年聚美优品的电视广告《我是陈鸥，我为自己代言》可以说让更多的人了解了X-Ray Dog，这个广告的背景音乐采用的就是X-Ray Dog创作的《Time will tell》,这是他们少有的清新风格作品，仅仅是音乐开头就已经抓住了人们的心。

这世界上的音乐，大部分人听到的都是带有歌词的，其实，没有歌词的音乐对情感的表达更为淋漓尽致，人们听惯了热歌榜，或许就认为好听的音乐也就是如此了。其实，音乐的世界很广，最震撼人心的音乐，可能在你从未触及过的深处。
